Match the ores (column A) with the metals (column B)

Answer: A → III, B → IV, C → II, D → I

Solution

Pair each ore with the metal it yields. Siderite is iron(II) carbonate, , an ore of iron. Kaolinite is an aluminosilicate clay, an ore of aluminium. Malachite is the green basic copper carbonate, an ore of copper. Calamine is zinc carbonate, , an ore of zinc. So siderite goes with iron, kaolinite with aluminium, malachite with copper and calamine with zinc.
