In the reaction. ,
  1. (A) is consumed for every produced
  2. (B) is produced regardless of temperature and pressure for every mole Al that reacts
  3. (C) at STP is produced for every mole AI that reacts
  4. (D) at STP is produced for every mole consumed✓ Correct

Answer: (D)

Solution

The equation shows six moles of acid producing three moles of hydrogen, a ratio. One mole of hydrochloric acid therefore yields half a mole of hydrogen gas. At STP that half mole occupies litre for every mole of acid consumed.
