How is the molality of a solution different from its molarity?

Solution

Molality () is the number of moles of solute dissolved per kilogram of the solvent; molarity () is the number of moles of solute per litre of the solution.
Molality involves only masses and is independent of temperature, while molarity depends on the solution's volume and changes with temperature.
